Preventing Illness
Preventing illnesses is a way of stopping others from spreading germs to people and it can make people sick.
The illnesses are:
- flu
- rheumatic fever
- sore throat
- running nose
- chicken pox
- coughing
- vomiting
- sore stomach
The causes of illnesses are not washing your hands and the bacteria can spread to other people. Not using a tissue is bad because when you sneeze the germs can hit other people. We should be wearing the right clothes for the right season and we should start eating healthy foods like fruits and vegetable.
The consequences of illness can lead to rheumatic fever which can begin as a sore throat. You can also get the flu which can cause you to have a runny nose and even you can start coughing. You might want to go to the doctors to make you feel good. If your coughing without covering your mouth you can spread the germs to other people.
3 Simple Ways to prevent illnesses
- Wash your hands often with soap and water
- Don’t touch your mouth, nose, eyes, face and your hair without washing yourself
- We should be eating the right healthy foods
- Going to bed early
- having a good sleep for up to eight hours so we can be ready for a good breakfast
- do some exercises
- drink water every day
