Lorde the Superstar

lorde (SUMMARY)
The New Zealand superstar Lorde has left the American Music Awards in Los Angeles. There were a lot of other artists like Katy Perry, One Direction, 5 Seconds Of Summer, and Imagine Dragon.
(OPINION)
I think Lorde deserved a trophy but instead she won a trophy in the New Zealand music awards. I think Lorde was very disappointed because she didn’t earn a trophy for herself. I think Lorde is lucky that she can sing her song called Yellow Flicker beat for the movie Mockingjay Part 1.

Bubble Gum Flavoured Broccoli

(SUMMARY)
Bubble gum flavoured broccoli was created by McDonalds and it promotes healthiness for children that don’t like healthy food. This experiment didn’t work at all. They tried to do something like this so they could make children eat vegetables.

I think they shouldn’t try to do it again because it didn’t work and my family wouldn’t buy this. Why would people do this when it isn’t going to work?

I Can Do Anything!

Screenshot 2014-11-14 at 10.22.41.png

  (Summary)
Yesterday we went to the Sylvia Park to watch the Manaiakalani movies and my favourite movie was from Point England and it was called I Can Do Anything. The first thing they did was understand the lyrics and plan their movie, so they had to draw pictures and they put it all together into one movie. The best part of the movie was when they were all singing together at the playground. The teacher that was in charge was Miss King.
(Opinion)
I think that miss King is very good at making movies. This is my favourite movie out of all of the manaiakalani films. Some movies were cool but I like I Can Do Anything better the best. I liked the pictures and I think they had to spend a long time practising it.

The No'Phone'

(Summary)
A new phone has been made and it has no screen, doesn't have a battery, cannot send text messages or call other people. There is a website that people can pledge money to help make it. So far there is more than $7000 dollars.
(Opinion)

I think no one will buy this phone because you get to do nothing on it, except looking at a blank screen. I think people who already gave over $7000 dollars to the website are silly.

Delicious Nutella

This was created on August 20 2014. The producers

have to pay up to 60 percent of the hazelnut and for
the nutella. I think they should just make nutella
using normal cocoa beans like in chocolate.
Then it will be cheaper.

Lorde’s Moosic ?

Do you think you are Lorde’s biggest fan ? Because these cows might have beaten you! A video on YouTube has had over 200,000 views after a Kansas farmer, Derek Klingenberg filmed himself playing Lorde’s song Royals on his trombone to his cows!

This song is special because it is Derek’s favourite song to play on the trombone for the herds of the cows to come. The cows come because of the tune of the trombone.
At first the herd of cows swish their tails and start mooing along with the MOOSIC.

Only 1058 people remain in the selection process. This is a one way mission because none of the astronauts will  ever return to earth.

For the boy that might be going to Mars it must be hard to just leave your friends, families and home.  It will take about 18 months to fly to Mars.

Blog Post

When we share online we will make smart decisions about what personal information we share
  • I will use my first name only
  • I am going to think carefully about what I share online and if I am not sure I will  ask my parents, teachers or principal.
  • If I can’t ask anyone or I am not sure I will  keep it private
  • I will be sharing what I am learning, new knowledge and information relevant to my learning

We have been learning to create, share and learn. For example like creating a google drawing and check if there are any spelling mistakes in the google drawing. Before I post it I have to check if the images are okay to use then I will be able to send it to my blog.
